About Think of IT
Southwestern R&D (d.b.a. Think of IT Computer Services) began in 2009 as a small business. Located in Wichita Falls, we specialize in aiding organizations with their technology challenges. We provide services that allow our clients to focus on their primary objectives, not their technology. We strive to proactively resolve issues prior to them becoming a problem; thus, reducing risk and aiding future planning efforts.
We maintain relationships with our digital partners, such as Microsoft, Sophos, Lenovo, HP, Juniper, Polycom, and Cisco. These partnerships allow us to design, scale, and implement effective solutions for our customers.
Our approach is simple. We actively listen to the needs of our clients from the initial assessment to our quarterly VCIO (Virtual Chief Information Officer) meetings. To avoid interfering with your daily activities, we coordinate our actions as possible. We provide you with the tools and know-how to continue functioning. For that reason, we have developed a client base of satisfied, on-going customers. Many have remained with us for many years.

Our owner, Steve Haviland, has over twenty years of experience in information technology. As an Engineer, his skills in network solutions have assisted multiple local organizations in solving their most complex technology dilemmas. His technical aptitude in the various areas of information technology and keen leadership skills keep our team running smoothly.
Steve participates in many community activities and is a Board member with the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce. He also maintains a membership in the Rotary Club and Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce. He spends his downtime relaxing with his girlfriend, Lee Ann, binge watching his favorite Sci-fi, spending quality time with his children, and brainstorming solutions to resolve business issues.
Kyle Haviland provides such skillful coordination of our customer’s needs that he keeps them delighted. He has handled our customers’ needs as both the Lead Technician and now as our Senior IT Manager. His project management and technical skills help complete customer projects in a timely manner, Kyle’s calm demeanor helps resolve customer issues efficiently. He is also gifted with a talented eye for design.
When Kyle isn’t rectifying project pitfalls, he enjoys binge watching his current genre of interest, downing cold beverages, studying up on various topics, and giving needed aid to friends and family.
Cherisa Chapa has over twenty years of experience in information technology. Her skills in project management, web development and design, and marketing make her an asset as our Digital Marketing Specialist. Cherisa has over ten (10) years of experience with multiple website programming languages, search-engine optimization (SEO), and online marketing. She proficiently executes online marketing campaigns that meet or exceed our client’s goals of building awareness, generating leads, and engaging customers.
When she isn’t helping clients promote their business online, Cherisa enjoys watching culinary masters compete in entertaining challenges, spending time with her loving husband and two quick-sprouting boys, appreciating the great outdoors, and reading books on a variety of subject matters.
Ryan Luig, Lead Technician, assists our customers with their on-going technical issues. His technical and communication skills keeps our customers updated on the resolution of their issues. His tenacious, hard work keeps our customers’ technical issues at a minimal impact.
Additionally, Ryan perfects the process of coffee consumption with his own line of coffee beans when not problem solving client’s technical issues. He also prefers to spend quiet time in the woods camping and hiking and playing Ultimate and Disc Golf with his friends.
Jennifer Wuthrich has over sixteen years of experience in executive administrative work. She delights in helping you get the answers you need to your pressing questions or directing you to the right resources. Her fun-loving, easy-going attitude makes resolving billing issues an adventure.
When she isn’t helping to control office mayhem, she likes to down coffee, is a bit of a foodie, participates in her children’s activities, and rides horses.
